Have you spent your entire life wanting to make things better? Are you in the way of your own growth or not sure what is to come? What happens when we are able to overcome our biggest fears, failures, and chase real change?
Graduating with a B.S. degree in Sustainable Business from the University Of Oklahoma, Andrew planned as a child to dedicate his life to showing people how to live in ways that will protect the natural world. Andrew has committed his life to ideas that can change how people use resources. As a result he founded Earth Rebirth, a nonprofit organization educating and empowering people to take food, energy, and water into their own hands. Earth Rebirth is an award-winning organization known across Oklahoma for their diligent commitment to helping projects succeed long-term and setting a high standard for sustainability among communities and individuals.
Andrew was hired in 2020 as the Chief Operating Officer of From Seed to Spoon, one of the fastest-growing garden management apps available. Andrew has served on a wide range of executive and community boards including the University of Oklahoma Environmental Concerns Committee, OU Sustainability Coalition, Chamber of Commerce Greenovation Committee and many others. He was selected in 2014 as one of eight young professionals for the National Wildlife Federation Fellowship for young leaders. As a member of the City of Norman Environmental Control Advisory Board (ECAB) Andrew helped develop and co-author the Mayor's Climate Commitment; a document laying out the long-term sustainability goals for the City of Norman. The city of Norman passed the commitment in 2018, becoming the 1st city in Oklahoma to commit to 100% renewable energy use. Andrew has a deep passion for changing the way communities provide and consume resources. His passion stems from his love of the outdoors, nature and animals.
"I believe what we have to offer this world is what we choose to leave behind for others. Life isn't just about having dreams - it's about achieving them, enjoying what you do and knowing why you decide to do it"
